Preparing for the Journey

Polska Pack Subscription Box

Posted on Updated on

If you don’t know, subscription boxes are a thing right now.  You can sign up to get fan gear for your favorite team, makeup, clothes, books, mysteries to solve… just about anything, really, sent in a package to your house once a month.  I’ve considered signing up for one because I think I’d enjoy looking forward to a box of surprises arriving in my mail!  So, I’m excited to announce a new, fun way to support our mission!

🇵🇱 Polska Pack!

(“Polska” is Polish for “Poland”, in case you’re wondering.)

Boxes will be curated and sent out on the first of each month.

Each box will be a different collection of:

  • A hand-made piece of jewelry – keep it for yourself or have a great gift at the ready. Spoiler alert… the first box will include this year’s Mission Necklace “God of Hope”
  • A surprise item from or about Poland, Israel or Ukraine (the groups of people we minister to)
  • A prayer card for the month listing the ways you can best be praying for this ministry.  Put it where you will be reminded!
  • A note from me explaining the significance of the items in the box
  • A special discount in our Mission Store – the greater your subscription, the steeper the discount!
  • Other goodies, puzzles and fun stuff (I can’t reveal too much about your surprises! )

I will also bring a very special gift back from Poland for our full 6-month subscribers!

Boxes start at $30 with discounts for longer subscriptions.  You can choose from several subscription levels to control how many boxes you’ll receive. You can also pay monthly.

The time it will take to receive your first box will depend on the point in the month you place your order. All boxes will be sent out on the first mail day of the month.

God of Hope

Posted on Updated on

It seems to be what people are looking for most.  Our Holocaust Survivor friends experienced the worst life could offer, and all these years later, what they still need is hope.  Many of the Ukrainian children who come to camp are refugees, desperate for hope.  The couple whose baby was just stillborn.  The man whose wife just left him.  The woman who just heard the word cancer for the first time.  The drug addict.  The alcoholic.  The teen who thinks of suicide.  Those who find themselves in a never-ending circle of depression…

They all need hope.

And that’s just what God gives.

May the God of Hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.    – Romans 15:13

The secret to finding hope is actually simpler than you might think.  Trust in God.  Completely.  He will be your guide through the good and the bad – filling you with joy and peace and overflowing you with hope even in your darkest days.  The Message puts Peter’s description of living hope like this: “Because Jesus was raised from the dead,  we’ve been given a brand-new life and have everything to live for, including a future in heaven – and the future starts now!  God is keeping careful watch over us and the future.  The day is coming when you’ll have it all – life healed and whole.  (1 Peter 1:3)

God’s Word has so much more to say about hope.  Click here to keep reading.   If you’ve never put your trust in God and aren’t sure how to do that, I hope you will reach out to one of us or head over to hear Greg Robbins speak on How Do I Become A Christian?

2019 Mission Necklace (1)

This year’s Mission Necklace is a simple message of hope.  If you’re searching for it, maybe this can be a little daily reminder of where you’ll find it – in God alone.

If you’re already there, let this necklace remind you to always be ready to give a reason for the hope that you have. (1 Peter 3:15)  Maybe it will even spark that conversation.  If you get that chance, give your necklace away and share your story with me.  I’ll be thrilled to replace it for free.

All proceeds from sales of these necklaces support our mission work, getting us on a plane to spread hope beyond our boarders.
