On The Border

Posted on

The last two days have been very busy welcoming an orienting a new short-term team and making preparations for the Ukrainian Children’s Camp, which starts tomorrow. (See the lovely picture of Dave’s Pharoah costume coming together). We were expecting them around 8 or 9, but just received word that they have already made it through the Ukrainian half of the boarder checks. If the Poland side goes smoothly, they could be here as early as 7 AM!  We also received terrific news that five more children are coming at the last minute!  So… I’m asking for your prayers over this week, which will begin very early for me and while you sleep!  My prayer is that these children will come here and find relief from the war and things going on in their lives; feel love, hope and joy in this place, and experience God in a way that takes root in their hearts.

Prayers for the children, that they may see the joy in your hearts and experience God’s love.
