A Day of Sharing and Giving

Today we had a chance to share with our home congregation – what God is doing in Poland, Ukraine and Israel and how we get to be a part of it all. We shared during the Sunday School hour, and were so encouraged by the words, hugs, prayers offered and giving towards the cost of our airfare. We also had our Mission Store items on display for those who wanted to make a supporting purchase but don’t like to shop online.

Yesterday we only had enough funds to cover Ben’s plane ticket and about half of mine. Today, I’m pleased to report that we have enough for about 2 1/2 tickets. Thank you so much to all who have partnered with us to make this return to Poland possible. We’re getting close! Our hope is to have the remaining funding ($1745) by the end of March, which is when we will cross into the time period that prices typically start to climb.
