Now Open! Our Mission Store
For several years now, I [Rachel] have been making handmade bracelets as a fund-raiser for our mission work. It has done well to help us cover the cost of our airfare and expenses, but sales are slowing down (I think people are getting tired of bracelets). This year we are expanding the store to include other items such as:
- other types of jewelry (necklaces, lanyards, etc.)
- workshops – come learn how to make jewelry yourself!
- original artwork by Ben and Anna
- gift certificates for local businesses
- gift basket collections
- handcrafted furniture
- collectors’ items
- etc.
At the time of this post, all that is in the store is jewelry related. But these other things are coming soon! We also hope to display the store items for purchase offline for those who like to see things in person. The details of that are still being worked out, but watch for announcements!
