Gdańsk
This will be a short post, but today was a nice family day out. We traveled with the group to the city of Gdansk on the Baltic Sea. It is a beautiful city, one that we visited last year. We did a little shopping, had ice cream, ate a wonderful lunch in beautiful restaurant on the water, rode a pirate ship to “see the sea” (joke of the day) and spent a few minutes on the beach. Andrzej and April were so sweet to buy us cups in the Polish pottery I love so much, “bolesłowiec”. It will always remind me of sitting and chatting over coffee and tea at their kitchen table.
The amazing Tanya Kukhnovets braided Anna’s hair as I’m pretty sure can only be done by a true Ukrainian.
It was a long road trip, lasting over 13 hours total. The bus ride home was pretty quiet, and it allowed me to do some praying and jotting down notes for the talk on Friday. Tomorrow Andrzej and I will go to the radio station. We were supposed to do this tonight, but returned too late from our trip. Afterwards, I’ll probably find a place to hide and finish writing the draft. Keep praying that God will give me His words and I will hear them.
There are several more pictures from today in the 2013 Photo Gallery if you haven’t found that yet!

Love the braids. Can’t imagine being able to do that. You will do a wonderful job – just be yourself – it doesn’t get any better than that. 🙏

Thanks, Cheri. I just got back from the radio. I think it was ok. Interested to see what Friday will bring.

You are one beautiful speaker and I know you will touch hearts with your heartfelt, powerful story of Grace’s ministry. Love reading your daily posts. And, Anna’s hair is lovely, I bet she would love to keep it that way for a while! 🙂
